These 45-minute tours of the Manasquan Reservoir, Howell, are narrated by Park System Naturalists and include opportunities to view local wildlife. The cost is $6 per adult and $4 per child, age 12 and under. Please call to confirm schedule as tours are both weather and water level dependent. All tours leave from the Visitor Center. Life-jackets required. Tickets can be purchased on day of tour only.

Head over to Freneau Woods Park, Aberdeen, and try the Park System's 25’ portable climbing wall. You must be 42” or taller to climb. Open to ages 8 and up; under 18 with adult. The cost is $2 for three attempts or climbs, unless otherwise noted; cash or check only.

Come to the Thompson Park Creative Arts Center, Lincroft, and choose from a large selection of bisque fired pottery pieces to glaze and make your own. Children age 12 and under are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $6 per hour plus price of bisque ware; cash or check only. Pieces will be fired in about a week.

DowntownFreehold.com is excited for another great year working together with MDS Audio as we shut down the street to make this event happen for you. This event takes place on West Main Street between Court Street and Throckmorton Street in Downtown Freehold and showcases talented and well-known musicians from the Tri-State Area and beyond. Many vendors are participating with a variety of items from hand rolled cigars being made in front of you to hand crafted jewelry made from sea glass, metal, gem stone, etc. We will also feature vendors with t-shirts, clothing, handmade dog biscuits, soaps, honey, unique crafts, and much more. And let’s not forget our Fire Department/First Aid Trucks will be there for all to see and learn about what they do for our community.

145th Annual Freehold Memorial Day Parade 10am-2:30pm

The largest and longest consecutively running Memorial Day Parade in New Jersey. Organized by the Freehold Memorial Day Parade Committee.
Every Memorial Day morning at 10:00 am, the Freehold Memorial Day Parade steps off from the corner of Brinkerhoff Ave. and Main Street in Freehold. We strive, with the help of community donations, to make every parade different, and bigger and better than the year before.
